	Diamonds & Ice - 15th Annual Gala March 31st, 2007 The Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation would like to acknowledge the generous support of the Langley community in response to our Annual Charity Gala that was held on March 31st at the Northview Golf and Country Club. Net proceeds raised $61,000 for the purchase of an Operating Room Table for the high risk room on our Maternity Ward. 	Annual Golf Tournament September 6th, 2007 Thanks to our major sponsors - Platinum - CIBC, Titanium - NEC, Gold - UHY LDMB Advisors Inc., Silver - All Weather Windows, also to our Tournament Sponsors - Eaton Elliott Wealth Management, Valley Traffic Systems, Freybe, Ricky's, Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen. Thank you to all the 148 generous golfers that joined us and to all the local businesses that supplied the tournament with spectacular gifts and prizes. Because of you we are now able to purchase two Hyper-Hypothermia Systems for the Emergency Room and the Critical Care Unit for the Langley Memorial Hospital. Visit Newlands Golf and Country Club between November 22nd and December 24th to view all the wonderful Corporate Christmas Trees that have been skillfully decorated by your local businesses. Enjoy the beautiful and festive atmosphere and vote for your favorite tree for a toonie! What a wonderful way to enjoy the Holiday Season! 	Chilly Chase 2008 January 20th, 2008 Lace up your runners and join us and Try Events for a 5k and 10k challenge that will take you through a scenic route of the beautiful farmlands of Langley. Race route - 58th Avenue and 216th street, is a quick, flat course with plenty of scenic variety for all to enjoy. Try Events believes that by providing a venue for healthy competition and activity within the Fraser Valley, people within the community will re-invest into their local charities, into their families and healthier lifestyles.
