Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation helps donors fulfil their wish to enable local health care improvements that support better health outcomes and benefit everyone in the community.

As leaders in building health care partnerships in Langley we work with individuals and corporate and community supporters to fund capital projects as well as the most urgent needs of the hospital such as the purchase of cutting edge medical equipment, funding education programs to advance treatment and patient comforts.

Last year alone, we were able to provide $1.8 million to the hospital and health care services.

Langley Memorial Hospital, located in the Township of Langley, is a community hospital and care network. We serve the community through 214 beds, acute care services that includes emergency services, orthopedic and general surgery, mental health and substance use, critical care, and clinical diagnostics, and outpatient services such as patient assessment and transition home programs.

Can I request that my donation go to a particular program?
Each year, the Foundation works closely with the hospital to develop a list of the most urgently needed programs, capital projects and pieces of equipment. We encourage undesignated donations so we can direct funds to the urgent needs. If you want to designate your gift to a particular program we are happy to work with you to match your giving needs with that of the hospital.

Can I hold an event to raise funds for Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation?
Yes! Each year hundreds of caring individuals and groups raise money for the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation by hosting independent fundraising events. These events include bake sales, golf tournaments, school bottle drives, bingo nights and even a group carwash. All it takes is a little creativity, some careful planning and the desire to make a difference in the lives of many.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes. Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation is a registered charity and we supply tax receipts for all donations.

If you are making a one-time donation online, you will automatically receive an electronic tax receipt by e-mail within a day of making your donation. If you are making a monthly donation you will receive one consolidated tax receipt for your contributions, by mail, at the end of the calendar year.
